A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONAL TELEDETAILING REPRESENTATIVE

As a TeleDetailing Representative, you are on the front lines of what we do for the health care community. You will detail healthcare professionals on brand effectiveness, advantages, features, and benefits, on behalf of our clients. You will develop relationship and build rapport with HealthCare Professionals and office personnel through regular calling cycles. You will place outbound calls to physician offices throughout the United States and will occasionally receive inbound calls regarding the messages you have left.

You will have the knowledge and resources necessary to resolve questions on your own and support from your team. With your professionalism and superior listening skills, you turn every interaction into a positive one. You keep accurate and detailed documentation about all your communication with the physician offices. You enjoy interacting with people throughout your day and feel good about providing exceptional contact center service on behalf of our valued clients!

Essential Functions

  • Detail healthcare professionals on product clinical effectiveness, advantages, features, and benefits.
  • Seek to gain the healthcare professional's commitment to prescribe and recommend the products detailed.
  • Must be self-motivated, disciplined, capable of presenting clinical information, have a professional appearance.
  • Possess strong interpersonal, verbal, listening, organizational and planning skills.
  • Develop relationship and rapport with HCPs and office personnel through regular calling cycles.
  • Answer questions about pharmaceutical products or the company.
  • Direct prospects to the field sales team when needed.
  • Enter and update HCP information in the database.
  • Handle grievances and professionally represent company to preserve the company's reputation.
  • Use CRM System to keep records of calls, product details, and note useful information.

Competencies

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Excellent English.
  • Comfortable presenting pharmaceutical products or services to health care professionals (HCPs) over the phone as well as dealing with complaints, concerns and questions.
  • Ability to understand medical terminology, disease states and pharmacology as will be trained prior to program launch.
  • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to customer/prospects.
  • Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection.

Required Education and Experience

  • Post-secondary education in Business or Sales and Marketing.
  • Some sales experience or sales abilities.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Computer Skills; Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • High speed internet access is a must.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year pharmaceutical or medical experience preferred.
  • Proven experience as tele-sales/tele-detailing representative.
  • Pharmaceutical Sales Representative or Inside Sales role.
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting required goals, preferably over the phone.
  • Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems.
  • Medical Experience; previous tele-detailing experience.
  • Have knowledge of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
  • Ability to build rapport and relationships by interacting effectively with HCPs and all levels of staff, demonstrating the awareness of their needs and responding with the appropriate action.
  • Previous medical/pharmaceutical experience or past pharmaceutical tele-detailing experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A TELEDETAILING REPRESENTATIVE

  • Ability to complete virtual video training, and successfully pass certification tests within 1 week of hire.
  • Maintain high speed internet adequate to complete work-related tasks
  • Post-secondary education with degree in business, marketing, or related field of study
  • Proven track record of successful customer relationships
  • Strong communication skills, including facilitation and presentation
  • Ability to work in a quiet and private work-from-home environment where high-speed internet is maintained
  • Computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows / Office 365
  • Excellent customer service skills: listening, understanding, empathy and believability
  • Ability to pass background screening

WORK SCHEDULE

This position is Monday through Friday, 8am 6pm. This is a work-from-home call center position.

Pay rate is $15-$18 based on education and experience.
